PassMark has released a new version of their popular PassMark RAMMon software, specifically designed for Mac users. This latest update brings numerous improvements and bug fixes to enhance your testing experience.

The new release includes several notable changes, including the removal of power tester and PCI POST card documentation as these products are no longer sold by PassMark. Additionally, the Porteus self-booting environment has been updated to version 4.0 RC4, ensuring seamless compatibility with various operating systems.

BurnInTest 64-bit has also received attention in this update, with a fix implemented to resolve an issue where CPU temperatures were not being displayed due to a missing device driver file.

Furthermore, several software updates have been rolled out across the PassMark suite of tools. These include BurnInTest Linux build 1004 and Build 1010, PerformanceTest V9 build 1026, as well as Porteus self-booting environment updated to version 4.0. Other notable updates include BurnInTest 9.0 build 1014 and PerformanceTest V9 build 1031.

The new release also introduces software and drivers for Inline PSU Tester (PSUTest) and PCIe Loopback card (PCIETest), which are part of the redesigned PC Test Kit. This kit aims to provide a comprehensive testing solution for users, covering various aspects of their computer's performance.

To ensure compatibility with different systems, the update includes support for both UEFI and legacy BIOS boot files. Additionally, config files have been updated to prevent automatic screen locking from occurring during tests.

The full list of software updates in this release includes BurnInTest, BurnInTest Linux 4.1 build 1000, MonitorTest, PSUTest, USB3Test, PerformanceTest, WirelessMon, and DiskCheckup 3.4 build 1004.
